Gates is the Automotive Aftermarket leader in the unique modular assembly coolant hose segment. Gates Modular Coolant Hose is manufactured to fit specific applications and are similar to OEM specifications to include specific essential integrated OE components such as hose branches, quick-connectors, sensors, restrictors, etc. Specifically-engineered materials resist collapse under vacuum. Engineered to resist electrochemical degradation – the leading cause of hose failure. EPDM tube; synthetic fiber knit reinforcement, heat-, ozone- and chemical coolant-resistant EPDM cover. Manufactured with OEM-exact hose components (quick connects, branch connectors/tees, sensors, etc.). Meets SAE 20R3 EC Class D1 under 25mm (1 in.) ID, SAE 20R4 EC Class D1 for 25mm (1 in.) ID and over. Temperature Range: -40 Deg. F to +257 Deg. F (-40 Deg. C to +125 Deg. C). Note: Gates recommends replacing clamps each time a new coolant hose is installed. Caution: Do not use for fuel or oil transfer applications.
